Opportunity

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Team Lead, this role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing SunPork's IT infrastructure, networks and security posture across a large, geographically diverse environment.

You'll work across on-premises and cloud platforms, providing high-level technical support while ensuring systems are secure, resilient and aligned with best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, design, administer and support on-premises and cloud-based server environments
  • Maintain and configure network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN's, routers and switches
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support across the business
  • Manage backup processes and data protection strategies
  • Monitor system performance and implement upgrades and automation
  • Develop technical documentation, training guides and user resources

About You

You're an experienced IT professional with a strong background in systems, networks and security, and you enjoy working in a hands-on, business critical role.

You'll bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' experience in systems, network or security administration
  • Strong experience across Microsoft and VMware environments (Azure, AD, O365, Windows Server, VMware)
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPN's, intrusion prevention, routing and switching
  • Familiarity with IAM, EDR, ATP technologies and modern security frameworks
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support a diverse user base
