Job Description

Candidates are the centre of our business and we're looking for someone to take ownership of our talent networks and build long-lasting relationships within the IT market here in Auckland.

This is not an "administration" job, as your ability to locate talented people, via multiple channels, build and drive long-term relationships with our awesome talent pools will ensure the success of the business.

You will work closely with a team of Sourcing Specialists in support of our Consultants to proactively consider and recommend talent strategies for our business, find, screen and interview candidates for permanent and contract opportunities across IT against specific job briefs and maintain relationships within the tech community.

You will have the support of the Delivery Lead and others in the business who are driven to be the best they can be and committed to your success and growth.

  • Smash the phone calls – circa 50-80 per day
  • Being involved in finding, attracting and qualifying candidates for positions in our corporate and government clients using our candidate database (JobScience) plus LinkedIn, SEEK and other social media tools
  • Advertising job opportunities
  • Phone screening candidates and/or Interviewing candidates face-to-face
  • Performing in-depth Reference Checks
  • Liaising with candidates and clients during the placement process
  • Arranging Police and DCSI screening checks
  • Validating the candidates working rights for Australia
  • Support a very strong sales team
  • Did we mention smash the phone calls – activity drives results.
