e are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks within the Bendigo Hospital Precinct. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring hospital electrical systems operate safely, reliably, and in line with Australian Standards. You will work closely with the Leading Hand Electrician, other trades, contractors, and hospital staff to deliver high-quality maintenance services.

our Day-to-Day Will Include P
  • erforming preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
    T
  • roubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in line with hospital guidelines
    A
  • ssisting with minor works, modifications, and lifecycle upgrades
    C
  • oordinating and liaising with contractors for specialised works
    I
  • nterpreting electrical plans and operating manuals to carry out tasks effectively
    W
  • orking with Building Maintenance Systems (BMS), lighting control systems, and asset management tools
    M
  • aintaining tools and equipment in a clean, secure condition
    S
  • upporting other trades and assisting with multi-skilled tasks when required

  • ualified and licensed A Grade Electrician
    P
  • revious experience in building or hospital maintenance preferred
    S
  • killed in fault finding, troubleshooting, and interpreting electrical plans
    K
  • nowledge of Australian Standards, OH&S policies, and relevant legislation
    P
  • roficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    E
  • xcellent customer service, attention to detail, and time management skills
    P
  • roactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player

  • illing to multi-skill and assist with other maintenance duties as needed
