About the role

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for internal candidates to apply for the role of Base and Contract Manager at our Exmouth/ Karratha Base. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations – APAC, you will be instrumental in overseeing operations, ensuring safety, and effectively managing base resources. You will possess a strong background in operational management, attention to detail, and proven leadership skills. Responsibilities of the role include:

• Lead the base team to ensure that work tasks are planned, coordinated and executed as per contract requirements and customer expectations.
• Act as the base-specific contract focal point for the PHI Senior Leadership Team.
• Monitor daily aircraft availability and work with assigned staff and PHI Scheduling to ensure daily aircraft assignments meet contract needs.
• Report, investigate, and respond to occurrences, incidents, and accidents involving the base and/or customer.
• Ensure records and reports are maintained for internal and client reporting, completing reports within appropriate timeframes for Director of Operations.
• Monitor contract activities to ensure they are conducted within the contract budget, managing and controlling authorized expenditure within agreed budgets
• Manage contract activities to maximise client agreed KPIs.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Previous aviation industry experience, preferably in a pilot, engineering or operations management function
• Customer facing and contract management experience
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and industry standards
