ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in firewall management and change management processes. The ideal candidate will assist with the migration of workloads to NextDC, develop and document network standards, and manage ITIL-based change processes. This role requires a deep understanding of firewall technologies, including NSX and Cisco FTD, alongside hands-on experience with ITIL change management.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Assist in the migration of network workloads to the NextDC data center.
  • Manage and configure NSX and Cisco FTD firewalls.
  • Develop, document, and maintain network and security standards.
  • Document and streamline the ITIL-based change management process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and network performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to firewall configurations and policies.

MORE ABOUT YOU

  • Expertise in managing NSX firewalls.
  • Strong experience with Cisco FTD firewalls.
  • Proficiency in ITIL change management.
  • Proven experience in developing and documenting technical standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience with data center migrations is desirable
  • Familiarity with NextDC infrastructure and services.
  • Good to have ITIL certification.
