Accounts & Payroll Administrator

This position is covered by the Clerks – Private Sector Award [MA000002]. Payroll processing duties will be performed in accordance with the Plumbing and Fire Sprinklers Award [MA000036], with all entitlements provided in line with the Fair Work Act 2009 and the National Employment Standards (NES).
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing in accordance with the Plumbing and Fire Sprinklers Award
- Payroll calculations including overtime, allowances, and LAFHA
- Monthly superannuation submissions
- Monthly State Revenue Office (SRO) submissions
- Quarterly Long Service Leave (LeavePlus) submissions
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Accounts receivable reconciliations
- Xero reporting and efficient day-to-day use of Xero
- General accounts and administrative support
About You
- Proven payroll experience
- Experience using Xero, including payroll and reporting efficiency (essential)
- Experience in plumbing services or a trade-based environment preferred but not required
- Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with cloud-based accounting and document management systems
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet statutory and payroll deadlines
