Duties:

· Preparing and cooking meals, managing portions, and ensuring dishes meet quality

and presentation standards.

· Calculating food and labour costs, ordering inventory, and overseeing stock to

maintain kitchen efficiency and reduce wastage.

· Managing food costs, monitoring portion sizes, and minimizing waste to stay within

budget constraints.

· Enforce food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations

· Supervising, training, and mentoring kitchen staff, ensuring high culinary standards

· Working with management to synchronise kitchen operations with restaurant

needs, especially during peak service times

· Addressing customer feedback and complaints about food quality, ensuring

customer satisfaction, and adjusting as necessary

Skills:

procedures.

· Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of kitchen staff.

· Effective communicator with staff and management, ensuring smooth kitchen
