Froebel St Leonards is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. The centre offers inspiring learning environments on 3 levels plus a rooftop playground for 99 children from 6 months to 6 years. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists program ). We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic two Early Childhood Educators to join our team in the nursery and the Toddler rooms. The role is for hours per week worked across 5 days (4 days as well as part-time will be considered).

The successful candidate will:

  • hold an approved Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education or is actively working towards this qualification
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to built and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and community members
  • have an interest in immersive language (German language skills are desired but NOT required) and inquiry-based learning; an interest in STEM is a bonus
  • have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
    last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset
