CNC Machinist – Hydraulic Cylinder Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our team in an ongoing full-time position. The successful candidate will have solid experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery, along with a practical understanding of day-to-day workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, set-up, and operation of CNC Horizontal Machining Centres and CNC Lathes.
• Machining and refurbishing hydraulic cylinder components.
• Interpreting mechanical drawings and working to exact specifications.
• Contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.

Key Requirements:

• Australian-recognised Engineering Trade Certificate.
• Proven experience using CNC Horizontal Machining Centres (Fanuc control).
• Experience operating CNC Lathes highly regarded; manual lathe and milling experience advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in hydraulic cylinder repair highly regarded.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and follow specifications accurately.
• Forklift licence, C Class Driver's Licence, and Dogging ticket preferred.
