What You'll Do
As a Parent Pathways Team Leader, you'll lead a passionate team of Mentors who support parents of young children to overcome barriers and pursue education or employment. You'll guide service delivery, coach the team, and ensure program excellence through strong leadership, community engagement, and a strengths-based approach. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you'll also manage a personal caseload, providing direct support to participants and modelling best-practice case management.
- Lead with Purpose:Support the team through regular coaching, supervision, and feedback, fostering a culture of empathy, professionalism, and continuous growth.
- Empower Parents: Build trust and guide participants to set goals and take steps toward education, employment, and personal growth.
- Tailored Support: Deliver personalised, strengths-based case management that respects parenting responsibilities and addresses diverse barriers.
- Engage Community: Promote the program and build strong partnerships with local services and employers to open pathways to work experience and employment.
- Program Performance: Monitor caseloads, team performance, and support service delivery to meet contractual, compliance, and quality standards.
What You Bring
- Qualifications: Diploma or Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community or Employment Services or related field (or working towards).
- Background: In community services or childcare is valued, as is lived experience overcoming barriers and navigating support systems.
- Leadership Experience:Proven ability to lead and coach teams in a performance-driven environment, while managing priorities to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
- Interpersonal Skills:Strong emotional intelligence and rapport-building skills, with the ability to connect meaningfully and communicate with empathy.
- Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
- Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
