Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Participate in engineering projects in developing, managing, checking and approving calculations, drawings, data sheets, technical queries, specifications and other technical aspects as required.
  • Identify resource capabilities and assign work in accordance with these capabilities within the project team, in accordance with the deliverables teams schedule.
  • Develop strong networks and relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and planning authorities, in order to enhance future work prospects and effectively manage and deliver engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with OHS, Environment and QA policies.
  • Provide Safety Leadership.

General Responsibilities

  • Actively role model and promote the Company values and Code of Ethics

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • 10+ years with a degree/equivalent in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • NER, or Registered Engineer Status in Australia, including RPEV or RPEQ. Working towards Registration will be highly regarded.
  • Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Vecta and its customers.
  • A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Competent use of electrical engineering specific software and relevant software.
  • Possess excellent communication skills
