We're seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join a mid-sized test team, leading verification and validation activities across complex systems and infrastructure services.

This is your opportunity to influence testing strategy, provide oversight to junior testers, and ensure solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance.

What you'll do
  • Lead and oversee test and evaluation activities, providing direction and reporting to management.
  • Design, plan, and execute test cases and procedures across development, preview, and acceptance phases.
  • Conduct verification and validation (V&V) in line with Defence T&E policy.
  • Review and improve test procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage risks, defects, and issues, driving resolutions to support project success.
  • Collaborate with the V&V Manager on planning, coordination, and reporting.
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years' experience as a Senior Tester, with strong focus on infrastructure core services.
  • Hands-on experience with application development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting in complex projects (Defence or similar).
  • Proficiency with Microfocus Octane, ALM, or other test management tools.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, software development methodologies, ICT governance frameworks, and T&E practices.
  • Experience executing test procedures for large, integrated systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable skills
  • Defence sector experience.
  • Testing and validation of mission apps or MOTS applications.
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Data Centre models.
  • Background in Agile or DevSecOps environments.
