Are you a reliable and safety-focused driver looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking two Bus Drivers to operate a 12-seater vehicle, transporting staff between mining villages and operational sites. This position is vital for maintaining smooth site logistics and supporting our team with short-haul transport, general errands and assisting other areas of the business as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient transportation of site personnel between designated locations.
- Assisting with boarding, luggage and any special requirements for passengers.
- Act as a point of contact for any transport queries with internal staff.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, passenger counts, and fuel usage.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and any site protocols at all times.
- Conduct safety checks and basic maintenance, as well as reporting of any hazards.
- Assist with other departments and site support tasks where required.
What we are looking for:
- Valid and unrestricted Light Rigid (LR) or higher class driver's license (Mandatory).
- Current driver Accreditation or Passenger Transport Driver Authorization (highly desirable).
- Previous experience in a similar role, with preference given to experience in mining or remote operations.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Friendly and respectful demeanour when interacting with all staff and visitors.
- Strong safety awareness, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating any risks.
