Allgem Jewellers is a long established, family-owned jewellery business trusted by Perth customers and visitors for over 46 years. Specialising in natural coloured gemstones, Australian opal and diamond jewellery.

We are currently looking for an experienced, well-mannered and enthusiastic retail sales assistant to join our sales team in Perth CBD.

Located at the entrance of historic London Court, a thriving tourist hotspot, you will spend your work day serving customers from all over the world.

Your day will entail engaging customers, selling and packaging in-store items, cleaning and maintaining the large range of products we sell. Following take-in procedures for customer repairs, special orders, valuations and quotes. You will work alongside a team of friendly equally driven individuals who are very passionate about our beautiful products and services.

About the role:

-Your primary role will be customer service and sales. Maintaining adequate knowledge of our products, services offered and showroom upkeep.

-You will strive to upskill your abilities and research the products we sell , using your new-found knowledge to educate customers on their purchases.

-You, along with our team, will be responsible to ensure our customer requirements are met whilst ensuring our store standards are maintained.

-You will need to be well presented, a good problem solver, energetic, well-spoken and a hands-on individual with a keen interest in the jewellery and gemstone industry.

-You must be an experienced retailer with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service, customer satisfaction and a passion for sales.

We are looking for exceptional individuals:

• You must have at least 12 months experience in retail customer service or sales.
• You must be an organised individual who thrives in a dynamic, high-paced environment.
• Ability to self-assign tasks including store upkeep, display maintenance and sales preparation in quiet periods .
• You must be a proactive team player
• You must be a well presented and well-mannered individual.
• Basic knowledge of jewellery and gemstones is required.
