Are you an experienced electrical assembler leader or looking for your next step into leadership? This is a hands-on role where you'll lead a small team in the wiring and assembly of lift control panels, ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.

You'll use your electrical skills and eye for detail to supervise daily workflow, provide technical guidance, and support your team in delivering projects on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of electrical assemblers in control panel wiring and assembly
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Allocate daily tasks, monitor progress, and maintain high workmanship standards
  • Inspect completed panels for compliance with electrical and safety requirements
  • Provide hands-on support with wiring, fitting, and assembly tasks
  • Train and mentor team members to develop their technical skills
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in electrical assembly (lift control panels or similar equipment preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring techniques and tools
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small team
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety practices

Desirable:

  • Relevant electrical trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in the lift or related industries
