Locomotive Driver - Intermodal

Join Pacific National, Australia's largest privately owned rail freight operator, moving the goods that keep the country running.

We're looking for a Qualified Locomotive Driver to join our Intermodal team in Townsville.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Pacific National locomotives safely and efficiently
  • Follow train schedules and liaise with Train Control
  • Prepare and provision locomotives, perform minor maintenance
  • Support a strong safety culture

What You'll Need

  • Experience as a Locomotive Driver with a current Cert IV in Train Driving, upload during application
  • Unrestricted QLD Driver's Licence
  • RCS safe working qualifications (preferred)
  • Team player with a safety-first mindset
  • Comfortable with a 24/7 roster (local + barracks work)
