We require an experienced fire detection system technician for Routine Maintenance, Essential Fire Service Installations and Repairs on a full-time basis.

Fire Service Plus is a locally family owned business who just joined forces with Canberra Fire Protection. We are looking for a electrician who has detection knowledge for our install works, upgrades, repairs & routine maintenance testing.

  • Experience in Fire Detection Systems/Vesda installation/programming/fault finding
  • Proficient understanding of the Australian Standards (AS & AS
  • To be willing to work hard and be part of a successful team
  • To be able to work autonomously
  • To be able to communicate and liaise with customers and fellow employees in a professional manner
  • To be able to stay away overnight as required

  • To be able to travel our large portfolio on a daily basis

  • To hold a current:

  • Cabling Licence

  • Drivers Licence
  • EWP/Working at Heights Licence
  • Construction/ White Card
  • Police Criminal Check
  • Working With Chldren Check
  • Electrical Licence
  • Silica Certificate

A fully equipped and maintained company vehicle is provided as well as uniforms & phone for company use.

Must reside in the Canberra Region, travel will be required within the role.
