An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Claims Consultant to join a well-established national brokerage. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of Property, Liability, and Professional Indemnity claims from lodgement through to settlement, providing exceptional service and support to clients throughout the claims process.

*Duties and responsibilities include:*

  • Manage a portfolio of up to 150 active claims across Property, Liability, and Professional Indemnity lines
  • Handle claims end-to-end — from lodgement, assessment, and investigation through to resolution and settlement
  • Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, and clients to achieve timely and equitable outcomes
  • Review and interpret policy wordings to determine coverage and liability
  • Maintain accurate claims documentation and prepare regular status reports
  • Identify and pursue recovery opportunities where applicable
  • Deliver high levels of client service and maintain strong communication throughout the claim lifecycle
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to team goals

*We are looking for someone with:*

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in general insurance claims, ideally across Property, Liability, or PI
  • Strong understanding of policy coverage, wordings, and the end-to-end claims process
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and system proficiency
