Job Description
About the Role
Our client is a Blue Chip Media Brand located in Sydney. Their busy office location requires the services of a highly skilled Corporate Security Supervisor to manage the front of house of the office space and manage a small team of Concierge Security Officers .

The Corporate Security Supervisor at this location plays an important role in the safety and security of the site. As the first point of contact visitors and staff have when entering the facility, the Corporate Security Supervisor at this location needs to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.

The successful applicant will work a Monday to Thursday roster from 07:30 to 18: hours per week.

Key Functions Performed

• Minimum 3 years of security experience and at least 1-2 years of Supervisor experience
• IT experience is highly advantageous
• To be able to lead a high-performing and diverse Team of security officers
• Must demonstrate leadership and team-building skills
• Provide a security service in line with the site SOPs and client's requirements in order to protect the client's employees, property and other assets.
• Be involved in and develop stakeholder relationship
• Provide detailed reports on site's operations and shortfalls to the client and Securitas management
• Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Site patrols, Access Control and responding to incidents around the site
• Greeting visitors and employees, issuing keys/cards to authorised contractors and monitoring their activities for safety and compliance.
• Report writing, Microsoft applications, advanced use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Monitor and use CCTV applications, Emergency Management and Fire Systems.
• Be able to coach and mentor direct reports.

Desired Skills And Experience
Skills, Experience and Requirements:

• Hold a current NSW Security licence
• First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 and HLTAID010) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
• 2 years Corporate Security Supervisor experience
• Intermediate experience with computer software/systems i.e. Microsoft Suite, Visitor Sign in system, CCTV platforms etc
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Positive attitude
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in working within a team environment and independently
• Excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills
• Ability to take initiative
