An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Australia Zoo team in a Full Time capacity as a Human Resources Advisor.

Working closely with the Chief HR Officer, you will have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and organisational skills. The ability to work to a high standard whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times is essential. Being a team player and possessing a great work ethic with the ability to build rapport with all team members is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of advice regarding employee performance management, disciplinary action or general guidance.
- Conduct workplace investigations from start to finish.
- Ensure all HR records are being well maintained.
- Provide recommendations to departments through regular culture reviews or similar feedback.
- Oversee all policies and procedures and update where required.
- Implement training and development programs to assist the workplace challenges and the development of evolving leaders.
- Regularly liaise with the Payroll and Accounts team.
- Conduct reviews, audits and award compliance checks.
- Champion the yearly Women's Gender Reporting Agency (WGEA) submissions.
- Submission of weekly reports.
What You Will Bring:
- Previous experience as a HR Advisor or equivalent.
- Qualification in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of modern awards and FWA.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to build strong rapport with employees and managers.
- Advanced computer literacy and analytical skills.
