Shepparton Packaging Site – Casual Position

A vacancy exists for a person interested in the packaging industry at our Shepparton (Lemnos) Packaging site. We already have a network of ten retail stores in Northern Victoria and we have now introduced packaging products into our offering through the opening of our new packaging site. Our company provides a great opportunity to grow your distribution and service skills in a friendly team environment and this position also provides an outstanding opportunity for career advancement.

The Primary responsibilities of the position are:

  • Deliveries to our packaging customers
  • Providing quality customer service and support to our loyal customer base
  • Forklift operation as required

You will require:

  • A current heavy rigid licence
  • A current forklift licence
  • Ability to work some Saturday hours during peak season
  • Good communication skills
  • A solid Manual Handling technique
  • Able to work within a team environment

This position is initially offered as a casual position and it is anticipated that average hours would be approximately 35-40 hours during our upcoming peak season. There is opportunity for progression to an ongoing position for the right candidate.

A heavy combination licence along with a sound knowledge of the Shepparton district delivery area would be both advantageous (but not required). Previous experience in the packaging industry would be looked upon favourably.
