Surdex Steel is a dynamic leader in the steel industry, offering a comprehensive steel distribution service throughout Victoria.

We are currently looking for an experienced Store Person/Cash Sales to join our team in Keysborough.

Working within a fast paced environment the main duties include warehousing and distribution of steel products using forklifts, picking orders, loading and unloading trucks and material along with assisting in sales.

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday.

To succeed in this role –

  • Previous warehouse and distribution experience, preferably within a steel environment
  • The ability to take customer orders
  • A current forklift licence (this is essential)
  • Overhead crane experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • A 'can do' attitude and honest work ethic
  • Available to work Saturdays
