As our business continues to grow, we're seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join our team.

Purpose of the Role

To install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The technician ensures safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery in line with Australian standards and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission HVAC systems including split systems, ducted units, cool rooms, and ventilation equipment
  • Diagnose faults and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant components
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing
  • Handle refrigerants in accordance with ARCtick licensing and environmental protocols
  • Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and Australian Standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with clients and document service activities using digital platforms (e.g., ServiceM8)
  • Travel to metro and regional sites as required

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent)
  • ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Police clearance and working with children check
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with ServiceM8

Pay: $55,479.41 – $114,518.59 per year
