About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join the GSA GROUP PTY LTD' team in Townsville, Queensland. Offering a 4-day work week, this full-time role will see you playing a key part in maintaining and enhancing the electrical systems across our diverse operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance work
  • Interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Testing and troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards
  • Liaising with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to more junior team members
  • Possibilities to gain further knowledge for right applicant.

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Electrician with a valid Electrical Licence
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations
