The Valley Pub is the newest local hotspot for quality pub food, cold drinks, and good vibes — and we're looking for hard-working Kitchen Hands to join our back-of-house crew

This is your chance to get in early and help us build something awesome from the ground up.

About the Role:

As a Kitchen Hand, you'll support the kitchen team with a range of essential tasks to keep everything running smoothly during service. From food prep and cleaning to maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen, you'll be a key part of our opening team.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting chefs with basic food prep (washing, chopping, plating)
  • Keeping dishes, pots, and pans clean and ready to go
  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and up to health & safety standards
  • Helping with deliveries, stock rotation, and waste disposal
  • Working as part of a fast-paced, friendly kitchen team

We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in hospitality (preferred but not essential)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and follow instructions
  • Reliability, punctuality, and great attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $40.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • RSA (Preferred)
