Maitland Indoor Sports Centre is looking for a dedicated and energetic Cricket, Netball Umpire to join our team Positions are available Monday-Friday afternoons/Evenings

About Us:

Maitland Indoor Sports Centre offer a wide range of indoor sporting activities including Netball, Soccer, and Cricket. We are committed to providing a fun and safe environment for all participants, from beginners to advanced athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Officiate and umpire Cricket or Netball in accordance with official rules and regulations.
  • Ensure the fair and safe conduct of games, applying rules impartially and effectively.
  • Offer guidance, encouragement, and motivation to players.
  • Handle any disputes or issues on the court with professionalism and in a calm manner.
  • Assist in the setup and pack up of equipment for games and events.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Umpire.
  • Strong knowledge of sports rules and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts fairly and effectively.
  • Passion for sports and working with diverse age groups and skill levels.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain WWCC
