CNC Brake Press Operator

Location: Parramatta, NSW

Employment Type: Full-Time, Ongoing (Temp to Permanent)

Pay Rate: $40–$46 per hour + Superannuation + Overtime

The Role:

This high performing Fabricator is currently seeking a qualified CNC Brake Press Operator to join their busy workshop. The successful candidate will consider themself a "Bending Expert", responsible for the accurate bending and forming of metal components for custom fabrication projects.

  • CNC brake press machine setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Interpret job plans and efficiently program specifications for precise measurements and fabrciation
  • Ensure accurate and consistent bending of metal components
  • Perform quality checks and adjustments as needed
  • Work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment

Requirements:

  • Engineering Trade Certificate (Fitting, Fabrication, or relevant discipline)
  • Proven experience as a brake press operator, with competent setup, operation and quality control
  • Ability to read plans, program specifications using CNC and efficiently complete projects with precision and to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening
  • Two recent, contactable work references
