About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and caring Chef to join our team. You'll be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, child-friendly meals that meet dietary and allergy requirements while following food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and cook healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0–5 years
  • Ensure all meals meet nutritional guidelines and special dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
  • Order and manage stock efficiently within budget
  • Maintain accurate records of food safety, temperature checks, and cleaning schedules
  • Collaborate with educators to create positive mealtime experiences for children

About You:

  • A passion for cooking and promoting healthy eating habits in children
  • Certificate in Food Safety or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a childcare, school, or similar setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of allergy management and safe food handling
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Friendly, reliable, and a genuine team player
