About the role

CALHN is seeking two Principal Communications and Engagement Advisers to join our high-performing, future-focused team.

We're looking for communications professionals who bring creativity, think strategically and can connect the dots across our complex health network to deliver clear, engaging and impactful communication.

These roles will shape and deliver communication strategies that connect and align with our network's priorities—one role has a focus on communications for strategic projects and social media, while the other has a focus on delivering our corporate communications function.

While working strategically, you'll excel at crafting clear, consistent messaging that engages our staff, partners and community. You'll also be ready to roll up your sleeves to help deliver a great outcome.

You'll bring:

  • tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field, along with proven experience in strategic communications
  • expertise in communication planning, stakeholder engagement and developing compelling messaging across a range of channels
  • leadership experience in managing small teams, balancing competing priorities and driving communication strategies that support organisational goals.
