Job Description:
Our client, a national tier 2 award winning builder, is seeking a Junior Foreman to support their construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the construction industry who is looking to step into a leadership role. The Junior Foreman will work closely with the Foreman and Site Supervisor to manage daily on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Foreman in supervising the construction crew and coordinating daily tasks.
  • Monitor work progress and report any issues or delays to the Foreman.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all workers are following safety guidelines.
  • Help manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site, ensuring they are used and maintained properly.
  • Support quality control efforts by inspecting work and ensuring it meets project specifications.
  • Participate in hands-on construction tasks when necessary.
  • Maintain daily logs of work performed and assist in preparing progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior staff.
  • Willingness to learn and develop leadership skills.
