What you'll be doing
  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
  • Has completed four years of ANZCA training in Anaesthetics or appropriate ANZCA assessment.
  • Possess Fellowship or eligible to write final fellowship exam of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists or Accreditation with the Joint Consultative Committee of Anaesthesia or equivalent as provided for in the Health Insurance Act 1973.
  • Demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to contribute fully to after- hours roster and experience in the management of critically ill patients.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated high commitment to teaching, education, supervision and quality assurance.
  • Previous ICU experience Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
