Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Settlement Officer (Mortgage) to join our team. As the Settlement Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and smooth mortgage settlement processes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the settlement process for mortgage applications
  • Collaborate with various parties involved in the settlement, including borrowers, mortgage brokers, funders, solicitors, conveyancers and other related parties to ensure seamless settlement processes
  • Identify and address any settlement issues that arise
  • Prepare settlement reports
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • As the first point of contact, greet all office visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Tertiary degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role or in the mortgage industry is highly regarded
