Barmera Primary School is a friendly and welcoming learning community, situated 230kms from Adelaide in the Riverland region.

We have a daily focus on explicit reading and numeracy programs, using a range of data sets to constantly assess student knowledge to assist with planning and program delivery.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher committed to building strong relationships with students, staff and parents to join our supportive team delivering quality learning in our upper primary class.

As a Category 2 education site, experience and skills working with students with behaviour needs and disabilities is an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.

• Collecting data as per our school's Assessment Schedule and evaluating student progress.

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Collaborating with colleagues and participating in professional development opportunities.

• Communicating effectively with students, parents and staff.
