QA/QC Supervisor

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO and DIDO opportunities available. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided. 

In this role, you will: 

• Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent
• Lead by example for all Safety on site
• Lead a Team of Leading Hands and Electricians
• Monitor Testing activities ensuring compliance with AS/NZ3000 and site standards 
• Participate in punch list walkdowns and sub system close out
• Liaising with the client and participating in project meetings

ABOUT YOU:

• Experience in Large Industrial Projects
• Experience as a QA/QC Supervisor or extensive Leading Hand experience
• Mining and Heavy Industrial experience is essential for this role
• Underground mining experience will be highly regarded
• Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner
• Work well in group problem solving situations

The successful candidate will have:

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
• Relevant state Electrical License
• Cert 3 or above in Instrumentation
• High-risk work License - EWP
• Working at heights (Refresher must have been completed in the last 2 years.)
• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
• Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License
• White / Blue Construction Card
