THE ROLES
As a Landscape Foreman, you will oversee a range of projects, working under a TDL Supervisor. On site you will direct operations, this includes ordering materials, communicate regularly with clients and ensure the landscaping team under you are tasked up for the week. There will be elements of subcontractor management as well. You will provide feedback to the Construction Supervisor on progress, roadblocks and capture any defects and variation requirements. Whilst working alongside the team, you will upskill and mentor staff whilst ensuring WHS compliance is met. You are responsible for ensuring projects are completed to the quality standards expected at TDL and issues are dealt with as they arise. Your technical landscaping knowledge will be required to support team members in more complex tasks. High attention to detail is critical.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified / At least 5 years of Landscape Construction experience including hardscapes, irrigation and softscape.
- Excellent leadership skills, with experience leading direct reports as well as a regular sub-contractor base.
- High level of attention to detail, and ability to manage quality on-site.
- Ability to plan, schedule and implement projects ensuring projects are completed in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements as well as meeting the TDL standards.
- Experience working with and managing budgets.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret plans and specifications.
- Working knowledge of WHS and ability to follow and effectively communicate our TDL policies, plans, and procedures.
- Highly organised and accountable to follow through on commitments internally and to our clients.
