About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring that all Parks maintenance requirements are well identified across a range of external customers and stakeholders and are then balanced against the resource requirements, planned works and deliverables within the delivery team.
This position is a senior role responsible for continuity of maintenance service across the city. The role will act as a representative of the community stakeholder providing a balanced and informed position of service requirements and influence program schedules and therefore resource allocation to the many service activities provided by Construction Maintenance and Operations Parks delivery team.
This role is to also inform and influence Assets Team on where to spend capital budget to meet need identified through engagement with community and delivery of service and operational activities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant qualifications in Planning, scheduling and/or extensive experience, as it relates to the role.
- Certificate III in Arboriculture or Horticulture or equivalent qualifications or with five years horticulture and arboriculture supervisor experience.
- High level experience in the provision of advice on works planning prioritisation, management procedures, processes, guidelines and business rules, as it applies to Infrastructure maintenance.
- Proven ability to advise and influence other to achieve goals on maintenance services department.
- Experience in delivery of service advice in a large-scale maintenance delivery environment.
- Excellent level of knowledge in services provided including methods and alternatives.
- Proven ability to increase business unit capability within the knowledge and application of works planning principles to assist in the delivery of identified services and programs of work.
- Good working knowledge of works planning, scheduling and delivery to agreed levels of service in a large maintenance delivery organisation.
