Job Overview

The role of Senior Curriculum Leader requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee the development and implementation of curriculum programs across Mathematics, Science, and Technologies.

In this pivotal position, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the direction and success of your team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead curriculum development aligned with school and departmental priorities.

You will drive excellence in teaching and learning by supporting faculty teams, promoting best practices, and focusing on continuous improvement to enhance student outcomes.

Additionally, you will monitor student behaviour patterns and wellbeing, offering targeted support for case-managed students, and cultivating a positive and inclusive school culture.

About The Role

  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that align with school and departmental priorities.
  • Lead and manage faculty teams to promote excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and analyse senior student data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with industry to ensure every learner is equipped and encouraged to succeed.
  • Line manage VET delivery and oversee engagement in vocational pathways.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Queensland Certificate of Education.
