About Us

UCL is a registered NDIS provider dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and older Australians to live independently and with dignity. With growing demand for our services, we're expanding our team in Bathurst and looking for committed support workers who want more than just a job — they want a long-term role with purpose.

About the Role

We're hiring Direct Care Workers to provide individualised, person-centred support to people with disability and frail-aged clients in their homes and community.

This role begins on a casual basis, but for the right person it will quickly become ongoing with the potential for permanent employment. We're seeking people who want to build a future with UCL and grow alongside our team.

We offer:

 Flexible hours – shifts generally 8.30am - 3.30pm, weekends & other shifts available

 Up to 38 hours per week for the right applicants

 Ongoing work with the potential for permanent roles

 A supportive team environment where your contribution is valued

What We're Looking For

You will:

  • Show empathy, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully
  • Work well independently and within a team
  • Value the rights and inclusion of people living with disability and frailty
  • Be flexible and reliable across a 7-day roster
  • Be looking for long-term, stable employment

Essential Requirements

  • Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Personal mobile phone
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
