We are a long-established Caloundra-based manufacturer seeking a Pick Packer to join our team. This role involves picking, packing, and dispatching orders, receiving deliveries, and performing other general warehouse tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch orders.
  • Organise the dispatch schedule and allocate transport workflow.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on operations and any issues arising with the dispatch of goods.
  • Perform and maintain warehouse inventory control and stocktakes.
  • Complete data entry and relevant paperwork for all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and obstruction-free work area and warehouse.
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors.
  • Be willing and able to perform manual labour and general ad hoc warehouse and workshop duties as required.

Job-Specific Skills

  • Experience working in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift licence – essential.
  • Full, open driver's licence.
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of performing heavy lifting.
  • Strong time-management and prioritisation skills; able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders (e.g., freight companies, sales team).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.

We are looking for a reliable and consistent team player to join us as a Pick Packer. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn new skills, and previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
