Our welcoming Lindfield family is seeking a long-term nanny to become a valued part of their household. The role centers around caring for their bright and independent 10-year-old son, while also assisting with household organisation and light pet care.

The family is warm, easy-going, and looking for a nanny who is reliable, calm, and proactive in supporting both childcare and daily routines. Their son is energetic, curious, and enjoys a balance of after-school activities, outings, and quiet time at home.

The nanny's afternoon will include school pick-up, assisting with homework, preparing family meals, supporting evening wind-down routines, and keeping the home organised. The family also has a friendly dog, so animal lovers will be well-suited to the role, as light pet care is required.

Flexibility will be important, as the family occasionally requires overnight support when the mother is travelling for work.

The family are looking for a candidate who can build a genuine connection with their son, contribute positively to the household, and commit to the role for the long term.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • School pick-up and transport to after-school activities
  • Supporting afternoon/evening routines
  • Preparing and cooking family meals, including next-day lunches if required
  • General light housekeeping
  • Light dog care
  • Running errands when required
  • Collaborating respectfully with mum and maintaining open communication

  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant nanny experience
  • Two professional, child-related references
  • Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Full driver's licence (automatic car provided if needed)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Experience cooking family meals
  • Comfort and confidence around dogs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
