Penrith Municipality, Australia Hix Group Pty Ltd Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Hix Group is requiring a Civil Techinican to join our I.T.S Civil team to be involved in a range of projects including:

  • Installation and Maintenance of Traffic Signals
  • Civil construction
  • Road lighting
  • Concreting of foundations & minor earth works
  • Pit & pipe work

What you will bring:

  • Team work qualities and self motivation
  • Attention to detail and pride in all aspects of the work produced by yourself and the crew

  • Experience with:

  • Installing conduits, cable hauling, pits and footings

  • Traffic signal infrastructure
  • Experience in working with TfNSW, Local Council and Government entities
  • Strong communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow company procedures in relation to documentation and compliance-Quality, WHS & Environmental Management
  • Current Trade qualification
  • Current Drivers License - MR/HR preferred
  • Excavator VOC
  • Willingness to work a range of shifts, Inc: Day / Night / Away

Remuneration will be based on verifiable skills and experience and will include:

  • Competitive hourly rate+ penalties & allowances
  • Uniforms, PPE and mobile phone, Company vehicle
  • Opportunity for further training and development
