Newcastle VW Centre is an independent specialist workshop, focusing on VW group vehicles, servicing clients from all over Newcastle and The Hunter.

Located close to Newcastle's CBD, our workshop has been going non-stop for almost 20 years.

We are offering a unique opportunity to join our small team of highly skilled technicians.

The Role:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks/log book servicing to manufacturers specification.
• Cooling system diagnosis and repairs.
• DSG/Haldex oil change.
• Timing belt and water-pump replacement.
• Suspension component repairs.
• Carry out fitment of performance parts and upgrades.
• Flash tune ECU/TCU

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current NSW Drivers License.
• Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate (Repairer's License).
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair.
• Basic experience with diagnostic equipment is required for this position.
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork.
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
• Work to be completed in a timely manner to the highest standard.
• A keen eye for detail and a high level of workmanship.
• Be reliable, honest, punctual, hard-working and self-motivated.
• Please note that VWAG experience is essential.
• 3rd or 4th year apprentices are encouraged to apply.
