Dontek became part of the Reece Group in 2022; the company has grown to be the most diverse manufacturer of swimming pool controllers in Australia, with all products manufactured from the Head Office in Bayswater.  With continued focus on growth, we are now seeking to add a new Firmware Engineer the team.

About the Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer to help us design, develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++.  You'll be implementing software solutions to address complex challenges experience with home automation control products.  This position will see you collaborating with a range of stakeholders in the research and development of the tools, and keeping abreast of advancements in technology.

About you

Here are some of the skills and experience that aligns with our role:

  • Demonstrated experience in embedded firmware and C/C+ programming, along with experience working with version control such as Git
  • Experience with Espressifs MCU's and Atmel/ST ARM MCU's.
  • Experience with interfacing to protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Modbus RS485 etc.
  • Development experience with RTOS.
  • Working knowledge of AWS IOT Cloud Services.
  • Ability to follow hardware schematics and implement robust firmware.
  • Ability to write and review engineering documentation.
