People and Culture (P&C) ManagerPart Time

Your responsibilities:
  • Execute and implement AWE People and Culture Strategy
  • Provide expert and influential advice and expertise across the organisation in relation to HR/People related matters
  • Act as a coordinator and/or mediator to resolve workplace disputes and conflicts between employees or between employees and management, ensuring fair and equitable solutions.
  • Provide clear guidance and interpretation of company policies and procedures to employees and managers, ensuring consistency in application and adherence.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment by promoting open communication, collaboration, and respect among employees
  • Promote Data-Driven Decision Making - Identify and create platforms and reporting on key analytics to drive strategies and improvements, ensuring initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or Commerce (minimum Diploma or Degree qualified)
  • Minimum 3 years in a Senior HR Advisor or a P&C Manager role where you have worked independently in a standalone role or in a small team
  • Demonstrated experience of driving and leading HR initiatives
  • Experience working within Resources/Mining Services/Mining Contracting environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to adapt and communicate at various levels in a professional manner
  • Well versed and must be confident to interpret Fair Work Act and Modern Awards
  • Understand how Financial/Commercial decisions in a business can impact People
  • Ability to problem solve complex matters and escalate where necessary
