The Essential Requirements for the role are.

  • Cert III in Light Vehicle Automotive or equivalent
  • Demonstrated problem solving & diagnosis skills.
  • Comprehensive expertise in completing Job Cards.
  • Sound knowledge of Workshop practices and WHS standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have open driver's license.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Daily mechanical duties.
  • Servicing and maintaining a wide range of makes and models of vehicles.
  • Diagnose faults in engines and parts of vehicles of all makes and models.
  • Repair defective parts and reassemble mechanical componets
  • testing and adjusting mechanical parts after repair.
  • Inspecting vehicles to achieve roadworthiness.
  • Utilization and maintenance of tools and equipment specific to light vehicles.
  • Fitting of 4WD accessories.
  • Wiring of auto electrical components.
  • Tyre Fitting
  • Effective time management.
  • Adherence to safe working practices.
  • Maintenance of a clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Execution of other ad-hoc duties as instructed by your supervisor.

The successful candidate will be offered a very competitive hourly rate based on their qualifications, knowledge and experience. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
