All Types of Care is experiencing growth, with a rise in support from our existing clients and new clients joining. As a result, we are actively seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be assisting clients in Supported Independent Living, Community Access, and Sleepover shifts. As a valued member of All Types of Care Queensland, you'll have the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include providing in-home support to help individuals achieve greater independence, facilitating their engagement in community activities, and empowering them to explore exciting opportunities within their local community.

About You

  • A readiness to collaborate and provide assistance to clients demonstrating challenging behaviours is essential, and having previous experience in this field is considered an additional advantage.
  • You have a proven track record of resilience and compassion.
  • You possess a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Your attitude is positive, and you approach challenges with a can-do spirit.
  • You excel in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You're flexible and adaptable when it comes to client schedules and changes.

Shift Availability:

  • Potential weekly hours: 15 – 38 hours

Shift options may include:

  • 2 to 10-hour shifts
  • Afternoon shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Evening shifts
  • Sleepover shifts
  • Public holidays
  • Weekends

What you need:

  • Cert 3 or 4 is highly beneficial or willingness to complete.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Current car registration and insurance.
  • NDIS Workers screening card (Yellow card) or the ability to obtain one 

    (no card no work).
  • Working with children check (Blue card) or the ability to obtain one.
  • Current police check or the ability to obtain one.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Modules Certificate (Worker Orientation Module | NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission )).
