We are a multi-site operater expanding into new stores.  We are looking for a retail superstar to join our team as a Store Manager at our Brendale store.   You will be responsible for managing all aspects of store operations and be able to lead by example in setting standards.  You will lead a small customer focused team to provide exceptional customer service and a retail shopping experience that provides variety and value. The Role:

Team Management:

  • Foster a positive and productive work culture
  • Manage and motivate employees to provide excellent customer service and store standards
  • Recruit, Train and develop employees who will become retail champions
  • Roster and scheduling

Customer Service:

  • Ensure high level of customer service standards
  • Address customer enquiries and resolve complaints

Sales Management:

  • Monitor sales performance, set goals and targets and implement sales strategies
  • Stock ordering and stock control
  • Merchandising to achieve sales growth

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and code of conduct and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail management or similar
  • Passion and energy for working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in MS office and POS retail Systems
