About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Class 2 Welder to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and assembly work across a variety of projects in accordance with safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Class 2 welding on steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components
  • Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely
  • Assist with general workshop duties as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Requirements

  • Certified Class 2 Welder (or equivalent qualification)
  • Proven experience in MIG/TIG/Arc welding (specify as needed)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and follow specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices
