**Production Manager - Softmed**

Softmed is a world-class Australian-based manufacturing facility for surgical masks, N95 respirators, and other PPE products and the non-woven fabrics that are the raw materials for PPE.

**We are looking for an experienced full time Production Manager for our factory in Campbellfield, Victoria, which is a medical grade, state-of-the-art PPE manufacturing facility and testing laboratory.**

The role will be responsible for the organisation and control of Softmed manufacturing and operational processes and procedures. Duties of the role will include (but not be limited to):

- Participating in the development of new ideas within the company such as (packaging, engineering, storage).
- Determining, implementing and monitoring production plans.
- Detailed planning of production activities in terms of quality and quantity of production.
- Control of the operation of the production plant and quality procedures.
- Supervising production and adjust processes.
- Coordinate the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements.
- Direct staff activities and monitor their performance.
- Achieve company objectives by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring and evaluating work results.
- Ensuring that production plans are completed in a given timeframe.
- Create an optimal workflow.
- Solve problems efficiently to optimize production times.

**Position requirements**:

- Relevant Bachelor Degree qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant employment experience
- Experience working in a production environment
- Experience working with the design and production of PPE

**Salary**: $63,083.57 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Campbellfield, VIC 3061: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
