Carpenter/Leading Hand    

Roster: Full-Time Permanent Position | Monday to Friday with possible overtime

Location: Gladstone, QLD

Skills & Experience

  • Current Driver's Licence (Essential)
  • Carpentry Trade Certificate (Essential)
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and be able to receive and follow instructions
  • Previous experience in concreting (desirable)
  • Physical strength and stamina

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide manual labourer assistance on various tasks and assignments
  • Conduct all tasks associated with the carpentry trade
  • Actively be involved in scoping carpentry tasks and conducting take offs and ordering all materials required
  • Other tasks as directed by Leading Hand/Supervisor

Leading Hand

  • Provide assistance to the Supervisor while carrying out normal duties
  • Provide on the job leadership to the team
  • Actively be involved in developing scopes and scheduling tasks
  • Provide clear communication to the client and feedback to the Supervisor
